From April 7 to 11, 2025, Dr. Ivana Pondelíková, Assoc. Prof. Katarína Welnitzová, Dr. Zorka Široká, and Dr. Jana Luprichová participated in an Erasmus+ mobility in Barcelona. The main objective of this mobility was to attend a professional training course titled Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Education, focused on the application of artificial intelligence in the educational process. During the training, the participants became familiar with current trends and possibilities for using AI technologies in education, such as personalized learning, adaptive instruction, intelligent tutoring systems, and the use of virtual assistants. They gained practical experience in creating AI-supported educational content, applying gamification techniques, and evaluating the impact of artificial intelligence on teaching and learning. An important part of the program also included discussions on the ethical aspects of AI usage and preparing students for a future influenced by artificial intelligence. The participants also established valuable international contacts with professionals from the fields of education and technology, which may contribute to future collaboration. After the official program, they had the opportunity to explore the cultural and social environment of Barcelona. The mobility successfully fulfilled its purpose, as the participants acquired practical skills in the field of artificial intelligence in education, which they plan to implement in their teaching practice.
