On 20 November 2025, the Faculty of Arts at Matej Bel University hosted a series of three expert lectures delivered by invited educators. The lectures thematically complemented the issue of artificial intelligence in education and formed an integral part of the international project VETAssIst. Assoc. Prof. Ivana Pondelíková, PhD., presented the lecture Teacher of the Future: How Can AI Enrich Teacher Training, focusing on innovations in the preparation of future teachers and the potential of AI to enhance their professional competencies. PaedDr. Jana Luprichová, PhD., followed with her lecture Future Teachers and Artificial Intelligence: Didactic Strategies for the 21st Century, in which she introduced practical didactic approaches and recommendations for the effective integration of AI into teaching. Finally, Assoc. Prof. Katarína Welnitzová, PhD., delivered the lecture Digital Teaching Assistants: Translation Tools and AI in Education, presenting opportunities for using translation and AI tools in both language and vocational education.
The event enriched the ongoing discussion on current trends in the use of artificial intelligence in pedagogical practice and created space for further professional collaboration.
