On 11, 15, and 16 December 2025, online workshops focused on the use of artificial intelligence in education were held within the international project VETAssIst – Artificial Intelligence as a VET Teacher Assistant (Erasmus+ KA220, project No. 2024-1-HU01-KA220-VET-000253387).
The workshops were part of a pilot training course designed for teachers of vocational secondary schools. The trainers Assoc. Prof. Ivana Pondelíková, Assoc. Prof. Juraj Miština, Assoc. Prof. Katarína Welnitzová, and Dr. Jana Luprichová introduced participants to practical ways of integrating AI tools into the teaching and learning process. The sessions focused in particular on applications for creating presentations (Gamma, Canva), worksheets, posters, and invitations (Canva), video andavatar creation (Vidnoz), and music generation for educational purposes (Suno).
The events attracted strong interest from participants and represented an important step toward strengthening the digital competencies of vocational secondary school teachers. At the same time, they systematically prepared participants for the next phase of the programme –the Moodle-based e-learning course, which participants will complete independently, with the support of tutor consultations.
