VETAssIst Best Paper Award Winner Now Published in Springer Proceedings

We are pleased to announce that the VETAssIst project paper “Artificial Intelligence as Teacher Assistant – Empowering VET Teachers with AI” by Helena Manojlovic and Eszter Bükki has now been officially published in the Springer conference proceedings of ICL 2025 – Innovation via Collaborative Learning in Engineering Education.

The paper presents the aims and research foundations of the Erasmus+ VETAssIst project, which explores how artificial intelligence can support vocational education and training (VET) teachers as a “teacher assistant” in their daily pedagogical practice and professional development. It also describes the project’s evaluation of 37 generative AI tools and how these findings informed the design of the VETAssIst open-access e-learning course for VET teachers.

This publication follows the recognition of the paper with the ICL2025 Best Paper Award (Special Session Papers category) during the conference.
