WP3 aims to provide a comprehensive evaluation of AI-based tools and educational platforms that VET teachers could use as digital assistants. By examining the availability, pedagogical value, and potential applications of these tools, this work package seeks to identify opportunities for automating routine tasks and enhancing personalized teaching approaches. WP3 also explores the challenges, risks, and conditions for integrating AI in VET, contributing to the project’s overall objective of understanding AI’s transformative potential. The findings from WP3 will serve as a foundation for developing the VETAssIst course in WP4.

Final Report: WP3 – A1 Evaluation of AI Tools for VET

This WP3–A2 Final Report presents the findings of a mixed-methods study conducted in Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia, and Germany to explore how VET teachers use and perceive AI, highlighting differences between AI users and non-pioneers . It identifies key motivations, barriers, and institutional conditions shaping AI integration in VET and provides recommendations for practice-oriented training, ethical guidance, and systemic support.
