The increasing amount of large scale assessments delivers impressive evidence of deficits in knowledge or skills of chosen participants; but doesn’t analyse the data qualitatively and advices poorly how to overcome the deficits.
Vivian Harberts

Specialist in digital transformation and work-based learning with extensive experience in European cooperation projects fostering intersectoral collaboration. As a researcher at the Institute Technology and Education at the University of Bremen, her work focuses on vocational education and training, micro-credential design, recognition of prior learning, and multimedia learning environments. She contributes to international initiatives that connect higher education, vocational institutions, industry, and policy actors, promoting institutional equity and innovation. Her research aims to strengthen flexible learning pathways and support sustainable transitions between education systems and the labour market.
Peter Kaune

Peter Kaune studied Cultural Studies and Sociology in Bremen and Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He received his Master’s Degree in 1995. He started working as a researcher in ITB in 1997 in the department International Vet Research. After a short break as coordinator for International Exchange in the Department of Social Sciences, he returned to ITB in 2001 as administrative director. Since he been involved in the administration of almost 100 EU-funded projects at the institute in various funding programs such as Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus+, 5th and 7th research framework program of the EU, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe or Tempus.

Zoltan Papp

Zoltán is an associate professor at the Hungarian Language Teacher Training Faculty, University of Novi Sad. He is specialised in mathematics, with a specific research focus on numerical optimisation and financial mathematics. With a professional career in technical and higher education spanning nearly 20 years, Zoltán has been a lecturer at Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences since 2008. He holds a PhD in Mathematical Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Novi Sad, where they also completed their earlier academic training in financial mathematics. His extensive background includes experience in secondary technical education, contributing to a well-rounded perspective on mathematical instruction.
Valéria Pintér Krekić, PhD

Valéria is a full professor at the Hungarian Language Teacher Training Faculty, University of Novi Sad. Her academic and research activities are centred on didactic and methodological sciences, with a particular specialisation in the methodology of teaching mathematics. She has a distinguished career in teacher education and higher education spanning over 40 years. Before joining the faculty in Subotica in 2006, she held teaching positions at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Sombor and the Preschool Teacher Training College in Subotica. Valéria holds a PhD in Didactic and Methodological Sciences from the University of Belgrade and has been a leading figure in the professional preparation and methodological training of primary school educators in the region since 1983.

Elvira works as an associate professor at the Hungarian Language Teacher Training Faculty, University of Novi Sad. Her research and teaching specialise in didactic and methodological sciences, with a particular focus on the methodology of teaching mathematics. Before joining the faculty in 2016, she gained extensive practical experience over 17 years as a class teacher in primary education. She holds a PhD in Methodological Sciences from the University of Kragujevac and is dedicated to the professional development of future teachers and the advancement of pedagogical methodologies.

Judit is an assistant at the Hungarian Language Teacher Training Faculty, University of Novi Sad. She specialises in mathematics and mathematics education, holding both a Master’s degree and a professional teaching qualification in Mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Novi Sad. With sixteen years of experience (2007–2023) as a mathematics teacher at the Kosztolányi Dezső Grammar School for the Gifted in Subotica, Judit brings a strong practical background in secondary education for high-achieving students. In addition to her scientific career, she is a qualified folk dance pedagogue, having graduated from the Hungarian Dance University in Budapest, reflecting her diverse pedagogical interests and commitment to cultural education.
