13th International Methodological Conference, Serbia

At the conference, the VETAssIst partners delivered a presentation titled:

“MESTERSÉGES INTELLIGENCIA A SZAKKÉPZÉSBEN: TANÁRI KOMPETENCIÁK, KIHÍVÁSOK ÉS FEJLESZTÉSI IGÉNYEK MAGYARORSZÁGI ÉS SZERBIAI KITEKINTÉSBEN”

This presentation explored the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into vocational education and training (VET), with a specific focus on:

  • The competencies required by VET teachers to effectively leverage AI.
  • The challenges and barriers faced in adopting AI tools.
  • The professional development needs of VET educators in Hungary and Serbia.

The presentation also highlighted the findings from the project’s data collection phase, which aimed to assess the current state of AI adoption and identify gaps in teacher training.

Publication and Abstract

The abstract of the presentation was published in the Book of Abstracts of the conference, ensuring visibility among academics and practitioners. Furthermore, an article based on the presentation is set to appear in the Conference Proceedings, providing a detailed account of the research and findings.

Significance of Participation

Participation in the conference allowed the VETAssIst team to:

  1. Share the project’s objectives and initial findings with an international audience.
  2. Gain valuable feedback and insights from other experts in the field.
  3. Strengthen cross-border collaboration between Serbian and Hungarian partners.
